Michael Jackson and Yazz & The Plastic Population:

"Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson starts off part 2 of Disconet's eleventh anniversary celebration.  "Smooth Criminal" is the new hit single and video from Michael Jackson's multi-platinum album "Bad" on Epic Records.  The mad, bad and dangerous keyboard wiz Mark Styles, and Steven have created a special Disconet version that's sure to be a crowd pleaser.  "The Only Way Is Up" by Yazz and The Plastic Population is next.  Originally a popular import and a #1 smash hit in the U.K., this sizzling cut has been remixed for its domestic release on Elektra Records.  Using his golden blade, Mike Carroll has created a classic Disconet edit.

SIDE A RUNS:  6:54 at 120 BPM, and 7:42 at 125 BPM.


The Lime Medley:

Side B ignites with "The Lime Medley."  This non-stop sizzling 10-song megamix was produced by J.R. Clements & Steven Von Blau.  The medley incorporates some of Lime's all time classics (i.e., "Babe We're Gonna Love Tonight") as well as their current hits (i.e., "Cutie Pie").

Kim Wilde and Offshore:

Bonus Side 1 blasts off with "Never Trust A Stranger" by Kim Wilde, one of today's most exciting cross-over artists.  This turbo-charged dance record is the flip side to the U.K. pressing of her international hit "You Came" on MCA Records LTD.  Stan Parchin (ace New York dance music expert who can name practically any tune from its first four beats) is an exciting new addition to the Disconet editing block; he worked with Steven to create this high-voltage club edit.  Next up is "All Work And No Play" by Off Shore, another high energy hit from the Ian Levine camp (Nightmare Records LTD).  Lonnie Jordon (lead vocalist on "No Regrets" by Quartzlock) delivers another inspiring and captivating seductive vocal.  Couple this with electrifying tracks and you have high energy perfection.  Steven Von Blau has created one of his special Disconet edits that's a real floor packer.

BONUS SIDE 1 RUNS:  7:02 at 129 BPM, and 7:16 at 132 BPM.


The Depeche Mode Megamix and Gee Morris:

"Music For The Masses," the title of Depeche Mode's current Sire Records album, perfectly describes this #1 progressive musical group.  Depeche Mode has been inspiring and setting trends for all to follow since 1981.  Tony Lumen has incorporated masterfully 7 of Depeche Mode's biggest club hits to create this power-house state-of-the-art megamix.  Tony, whose legendary lights fantastic lit up many an evening at The Saint, recently added his magical powers to the Halloween party at the Red Zone; he is currently working on another exciting musical venture.  Special Thanks: Debra Pelton & Craig Kostich.  Next is Gee Morris with her high energy rendition of the Isley Brothers' classic "This Old Heart Of Mine".  This percussive and electrifying cover is another instant winner from the Ian Levine camp- Nightmare Records.
