Roaring in from the Chicago club house scene is "I Can't Turn Around" by J.M. Silk, on RCA Records.  Isaac Hayes wrote, Steve "Silk" Hurley and Larry Strum produced, and Hurley and Keith Nunnally mixed this power house tune.  Steven Von Blau gave us a windy city edit to create a storm on your floor.

Special thanks to Wendy Goldstein at RCA Records NYC.

Chuck Parsons Remixes "Brand New Lover" by Dead Or Alive.  Bryan Cronin does a future dance mix to M C L's "Communicate".

Dead Or Alive starts off this high energy side that will have your crowd spinning 'round and 'round.  "Brand New Lover" is their new Epic Records 12", from the forth coming album "Mad, Bad And Dangerous".  "Brand New Lover" was written by Dead Or Alive, produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, and mixed by our friend Phil Harding.

Taking advantage of all three mixes on the Domestic Epic Records 12", Chuck Parsons and Steven Von Blau have created a brand new non-stop mix.  This is Chucks' second appearance on Disconet.  He first appeared with his classic edit of M+M's "Black Stations/White Stations" (Vol.6 #13).  Chuck still plays at The Hippopotamus in Baltimore, and is a favorite regular at The Saint here in New York.

Next is "Communicate" by M C L, a pulsating dance record from our overseas friends at Westside Records Germany.  The ever so prolific music machine masters Talla & Ra Hen produced this cut, which was recorded at Dynaton Studios in Germany.

Bryan Cronin flew in some very special precision razor blades, to create a sharp edit for a powerful Disconet version.  Bryan has been spinning records in New York for the past twelve years, and also runs Strike Force, one of New Yorks top promo companies.

SPECIAL NOTE TO DJs: Side B runs 13:08, from 120 BPM to 125 BPM.

Double Dee pulls double G forces with James Brown's "Gravity".  Nicole goes floor to floor with "House Calls".

James Brown is back, is hot, and sounds better then ever.  "Gravity" is the title cut & current 12" from his new Scotti Brothers/CBS Records album.  Double Dee, the underground professor of edits, has uniquely combined all four mixes from the "Gravity" 12" and with hot punches from "Living In America", Brown's knock out hit from the Rocky IV soundtrack, for this exclusive Disconet mix.  Both songs were written by Dan Hartman and Charlie Midnight, with Dan Hartman producing.  Adding to the pull of these hits is Alison Moyet on "Gravity", and Stevie Ray Vaughan's hard punching lead guitar on "Living In America".

May the force of "Gravity" be with your floor!!!

Next is "Housecalls" by Nicole, her new 12" from her Portrait Records album "What About Me".  Her last single, "Don't You Want My Love?", is still a top of the chart hit, and "Housecalls" is now making its way from floor to floor, and station to station.  "Housecalls" was written by M. Holding, R. Nevil, and D. Pain, and was produced by Lou Pace.  This cut was originally mixed by John Morales and Sergio Munzibai.  With this special edit by Steven, Nicole will be making many "Housecalls" on your dance floor.

Five Star, who appeared on Disconet Vol.8 #5 with "Love Take Over", returns with their latest hit, "Can't Wait Another Minute".  This hot young group really lives up to its name.  Every song they do is a Five Star winner.  "Can't Wait Another Minute" was written by S.
