Whitney Houston Medley and 1st Impression:

Sparking off Disconet's July program celebration is "The Whitney Houston Medley".  This Megamix of Whitney's hottest dance tunes ("I Wanna To Dance With Somebody", "How Will I Know", "So Emotional", and "Love Will Save The Day") was produced by Disconet's Golden Razor Blade, Mike Carroll.  From start to finish this captivating Megamix is a non-stop explosion of firecracker edits, exploding breaks, and crowd pleasing screamers.  The excitement continues with "Forbidden Lover" by 1st. Impression, on Arista Records.  Ned Bannan and Chris Walsh of KISS FM Hartford Ct., have teamed up to create a special Disconet version of this exciting floor packing, percussive dance tune.

Bros and Brian Brian:

BROS., the, latest sensation from the U.K., starts off Side B with their hot single "When Will I Be Famous", on Epic Records.  This pop/dance tune is a prime example of a multi-format hit.  With pounding bass line, catchy rhythm, infectious hook, and captivating vocals, "When Will I Be Famous" is making its way up all the charts.  The Mad, Bad, and Dangerous Dennis Muyet has given us a special U.K. edit that will have London Bridges falling down.  Next is Brian Brian with his debut dance single, "A House Is Just A House", a Scott Blackwell Production.  Brian Brian, a blue blood Bostonian, is best known as the lead vocalist in the band "The Ricardos" of Knob Hill.  Recently he decided to pursue a solo career, and sought out one of todays hot young producers, Scott Blackwell.  Glenn Friscia is known for his hot mastermixes in many of New York's leading clubs, and respected as "the source" for all of New York's latest "dish".  Also, (until recently) Glenn was a producer of the Telegenics Video Service.  Now Glenn has teamed up with Scott Blackwell to create this exclusive premiere.

The Pet Shop Boys Medley:

Bonus Side one blasts off with "The Pet Shop Boys Medley".  This turbo-charged wham bam Pet Shop Boys megamix was produced by Todd Culver (NAM Enterprises 265-1800).  The medley incorporates six of the Pet Shop Boys' hottest chart toppers, including special versions of their two latest singles,"Heart" and "Always On My Mind".

Quartzlock, Claudja And Then:

The summer of 88's hottest high energy record, "No Regrets" by Quartzlock, starts off bonus side Two.  "No Regrets" is pure high energy perfection with driving percussion, romantic keyboards, sweeping strings, and a torchy vocal delivery.  J.R. Clements has given Disconet an exciting new version of this cut that will leave your crowd breathless.  "If I Do It To You" by Claudja Barry is next.  This soulful R & B cut is an un-released track from 1981 that's sure to be an early morning pleaser.  A special thanks to Jurgen Korduletsch for making this track available to Disconet.  Wrapping up the side is the return of And Then with their new single "Landslide".  "Landslide" is a captivating high energy track that is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
